They come with magnetic grills now. The bass extension is fantastic. For the majority I run them without a subwoofer, they sought great either way. Im running them with a Wiim Ultra for the streaming source, Emotiva UPA-2 for the power amplifier, and S.M.S.L. Raw Dac-1 for the Dac.
