This actually looks decent but I'm not sure if they can hang with that pricing versus the Wiim Ultra.

Mostly interesting...

Does anyone know if this unit auto-detects an input signal switch to another input? I hear it does not which is a slight bummer.

My best guess is that it doesn’t but no way to confirm.

Phono input but no ground??

Yikes! $399 USD? Good luck... The WiiM Ultra is all over this @ $329

I think it might normally go with some discount and might fall around same price as Wiim Ultra.
Some might see Air Play 2 as useful addition while others not.

Walk… No, run away from all things Arylic.
Everything tested by them has been beyond ghastly.

I have used the Arylic Mini with PCM5102 on I2S, and also the native output. Both real good to my ears, but according to ASR standards, native output is garbage. Interesting.

By the same standards, the TPA3118 amp chip in my genelec 8030's are garbage. Yet, these speakers sound insanely good. What is the reason that these products are "garbage", while speaker drivers produce more harmonic distortion?

Anyhow, I very much like the simplicity and compactness. The remote is on my dinner table, use it a lot. Friend of mine has a WiiM amp with wireless remote. Even more convenient than the infrared model I use with the Arylic.

Main thing is that you dig it. That’s all that matters in the end.
I had their S10+ and some of their diy stuff in the early days, and while their software was surprisingly decent, the sound unfortunately wasn’t for me.

I like to dig tech for sure, but usability is king here ;-)

What is wrong with the sound of the s10+, and what are you using now to fix that?
I am about to add a pcm5102 to an arylic, or add an SMSL PS100 to the s10+.

Even if this has literally 10x better performance than the LP10 it will still be broken. Better to hold out for the LP10000, then SINAD will be closer to SOTA.

I ditched the Arylic refuse 5 or so years ago.
To answer your question, Hypex plate amps, DEQ and DCX2496, RME ADI DAC-2 (once I get round to fixing it). Laptop and LG G8X for streaming. And the odd RPI or two.
