Thank you to ASR member, @john61ct for arranging for this sample Arylic LP10 to be measured by Amir.

I recently sold my old iPhone 6s for 50€. That would be orders of magnitude better and more convenient than this device.

I believe Arylic declared bankruptcy a while ago. Just wondering if the USB-A port is actually limited to 1024 songs or FOLDERS? FOLDERS would make more sense.

They seem to be "alive"

I could forgive analog performance at the 60's, most wouldn't notice it probably.

But this creates a new low with such a horrible digital performance at 2025.
Even PC's decent motherboards was streaming perfect digital audio streams 10-15 years ago!

Such a waste of components, even if they are the cheapest ones.

Thanks Amir!

Auralic is dead; Arylic is very much alive.

Also--is this the worst thing ever tested here?

I must admit I'm surprised, considering that this shows up in my weekly email from Audioholics. It takes a real effort to get better analog performance than digital in a new product in 2025.

Looked this product up on Amazon, and it had 80 reviews with an average of four stars, and 54% rated it five stars! The AI summary blurb said "Customers find the music streamer's sound quality amazing." Oh, well.

In any case, have to wonder if you received a defective unit. Even the cheapest of the cheap in this category ought to be hitting SINADs in excess of 80db. Maybe they need to pay closer attention to QA. Still, great review, Amir.

Holy moly, @amirm!
Thanks a lot for this appreciated review, I wasn't aware of -that- level of performance...
Maybe is it a defective unit?

Thank you for the review, @amirm.
Did we really need to have votes for this thing?
@JSmith, thank you for the internal photos.
Those pictures show a lot of components and even a secondary daughter-board: It's a shame that the "surgery was a success but the patient died!"

It must have low quality tubes in side.

Yikes, you see these devices and optimistically hope they could be a good option for the hobby. Thanks to Amir for protecting the community from what could be a total waste of money.
