I have a RME Fireface UFX ii (which has a high & low power mode for the headphone amp)...and I just purchased a set of Hifiman Arya Organics. Is the RME sufficient in powering the Arya Organics for accurate reproduction? I will be mixing albums on this setup. Thanks!

The headphone output is dongle tier power-wise, but it should be sufficient if you’re not looking for *very* loud volumes.

Seriously?...only headphone dongle tier even when in high output mode? Should I consider getting a topping Dx5 ii for more power? Would that kind of additional power make the headphone more accurate in it reproduction?

Why don't you just plug it in and listen? The Arya Organic is more efficient than the previous models and even suitable for many mobile dac/amps. With my ADI2-DAC the low power setting is plenty loud.

I have listened to it on my RME UFX and I have plenty of headroom (volume)...but volume is not the concern. The concern is will the headphones reproduce (frequency response & dynamics) differently when using the RME UFX ii vs something with higher power (such as a Topping DX5 ii). In a nutshell...does higher power create a more true/accurate response? Thanks!

It is a common myth but there is no electronic basis for it.
If the amp starts running out of power, it will clip and distort. Which can be subtle at low levels, but if you're mixing/mastering, I imagine you'll be able to hear it.
