Kind of embarrassing and not sure it belongs in this thread given her respectable Grammy collection, but I just recently discovered Brittany Howard’s solo album. Incredible drumming by Nate Smith. Maybe somebody else here was as ignorant as I and enjoys this:

I turned my son (26) onto the artist FKJ (French Kiwi Juice). Yes, you read that right. He always plays the album when doing the Uber driving bit reporting that passengers often comment on it. All positive feedback, no negative.
Often hard to pick which song to introduce or entice, but I like the video.

Daði Freyr. Funkiest person on last week's ESC 2021, his latest EP is a revelation. For those into electro funk a la Cromeo, worth a listen.
