Having hell with the original NE-2 skipping songs on Spotify. Worked perfectly although lossless never worked. I will see if disengaging lossless solves the issue and if anyone cares report back. Firmware is updated to version 01.01.2026.

I have the NE-2 plus and the latest firmware for that has a date of April 29 or 30 so you might have newer firmware available.

I'm using wifi and should have a good connection to the Arsy, but it's fairly typical that after a day or two of being powered on, the Arsy can't be found on the network. Sometimes after a restart, it won't show up for more than 15 minutes. Sometimes I give up but the next day it'll work.
It's in a second system so I can listen to tunes elsewhere but it is annoying.
Song skipping sometimes happens on all sources but it isn't consistent and is far behind the issue I described above.
One day, I'll bring it into my main system which can connect via ethernet so I'll see if the issues I periodically have are with wifi only or inherent in the design.

ARSY Ne-2 and Ne-3 are now ROON READY.

Well, I finally gave up on the Arsy Ne-2 plus. Despite power cycling and/or resetting the device, it's rarely able to receive an audio stream even though it may show up as an option in Apple Music, Spotify, Qobuz, etc. It's only gotten worse as the months go by.

I can rarely connect to the device to see its menu using the IP address to access the setup menu to check the firmware. It's become a hopeless endeavor.

My experience using it has been via wifi. If I'm ever able to situate it where I can try the wired ethernet connection, perhaps that will work better. But for now it's going back in the box.

I have the new Arylic LP20 on the way that will hopefully fulfill the promises of the Arsy. With their current offer, it's the same price the Arsy, more full featured, and comes with its own power supply.

Your comments exemplify why Amir's streamer recommendations are by and large useless. SINAD means nothing if the signal never reaches your amplifier.

Amir's streamers tests are very usefull for the hardware part, I don't know about you but personally I don't own an audio analyzer.
Testing the software and also in the case of the previous comment, the updates and the support, it's a different kind of job, I don't know many reviewers on the web who have enough time to do that really.

And that is why this is generally a very helpful FORUM! Amir's (et al) priceless tests together with comments by "early adopters"/other researchers make great recommendations (or the opposite) for other end users, IMO.

My five Cents:
As with most things in life, it's generally always good to listen to more than only one voice, as additional valuable information may rise on the way. If these critical insights / contributions are verifiable and combined, then I think that's called science, if I am not mistaken. Best regards.

Well my affair with the Acrylic LP20 was short lived. It theoretically does everything but get this - The device advertises "Dual Band 802.11ac 2.4GHz/5GHz" but I cannot use its otherwise sufficient app unless both the LP20 and my mobile device are on a 2.4Ghz network. This is not disclosed on the product page or the instruction manual and is only found in the support section that I navigated to after the LP20 failed to connect to my network. Essentially there seems to be no way to connect it to a 5Ghz wifi network.
It's sadly being returned tomorrow.
