Apologies in advance, but this is a decidedly unfun topic and it is perhaps somewhat UK/Eurocentric, though the issue is likely affecting those elsewhere too.
In the UK there was a 54% jump in energy costs cap in April, there will be another large jump in October and maybe again at the beginning of next year. Presuming one has already turned off everything that isn't needed and/or installed other energy saving devices, like timers, is anyone looking to fix an electricity/gas rate now, in the hopes that things will get ever crazier or are you just going to weather the - ever increasing - variable rate storm until things settle down again (when do you foresee this happening?)
