The biggest US export are services . With this in mind does EU have dns root server? If not imagine every link click taxed
Zaans mayonaise is my favorite Dutch Mayonaise. Love the clip in Pulp Fiction revering How Dutch people drowning their Fries in MAyonaise guess a culture differenceI live in a very western part of Germany and am occasionally in Roermond, Maastricht and Liège.
The Netherlands and Belgium undoubtedly have the best French fries in the world and also the best non-homemade mayonnaise.
D&L and Calve mayonnaise are my favorites, but I won't buy large quantities of them because I'm not afraid that the prices will go up.
Bourbon and Tennessee whiskey are a completely different story, which is why I ordered a few more bottles than usual.
There´s no market for american cars in Europe, we just don´t like them. It´s not a question of price for the most part.By the way those crazy tariffs have not so crazy roots. European car in the US have european price or even less. In a same time American car in EU costs ~50% more. Same for the audio goods.
To be honest Scotland also isn't famous with sunny fields and golden beaches![]()
I hope this is taken not as political but rather informative. I get the impression reading this thread and others that people think President Trump is losing popularity in the US. due to tariffs and other policies and he will be forced to change them. This is not the case so far. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14610691/donald-trump-approval-rating-tariffs.html
Tesla have giga-factory in EU but model 3 here is still 5k more than US price. Don't focus just on cars , everything build in EU and China is less expensive in US compared to the EU.There´s no market for american cars in Europe, we just don´t like them. One just needs to look at what cars europeans buy and like the most (also brands from Japan and other Asian countries) and what cars the american manufacturers offer to realise there´s a mismatch.
Many european cars being sold in the US are build in the US.
We need those. You are an optimist.
Carefully, no politics ...When are we going to see serious action from americans opposing Trump and his administration of fools?
You do realise he is destroying your country in all kinds of ways, so I hope?
The presidente of the Dutch national Bank called Trump an economical terrorist a few days ago and he is absolutely right!

Good dog. He is clearly stressed from his shadow's unusual presence. Two things - first I prefer foggy and windless weather - "The Hound of the Baskervilles" for reference, second Im at the third rakia so don't judge me harshI dunno bout that, I’ve spent weeks n’ weeks cycling round the Hebrides in glorious weather whilst enjoying beaches in utter solitude, as good as anywhere in the world, then again I’ve also spent weeks cowering from the incessant driving rain n’ wind (Shetland……I’m looking at you)
Local beach at sunset, 3miles away from my house here in Galloway

Ok, Tesla is own by altaviat Musk, fast food is abomination and its out of questions , but what about of our common field- the audio.Tesla is (was) a different story.
If a tesla is more expensive in Europe has nothing to do with tariffs. Just Musk exploring the favourable market (or it used to be).
I´m not thinking just cars, I think in general and what the US produces is either lower quality and doesn´t meet EU standards (like chicken and other food products) or we have better options in Europe and don´t buy american.
I lack the potential of economic discussion but what I see (and the fellow europeans ) is everything in US is cheaper than EU. Us,Eu or China made - everything.Tesla is (was) a different story.

In point of fact, almost all of us have lived under tariffs of one sort or another our entire lives. I hope others will follow your example and do a bit of reading. A good place to start, what will be a very long read, is the "Concert of Europe" (to put the EU in proper context), then jump ahead to the relationship between asymmetrical tariffs and the Marshall Plan. From there, one might try to discover how one funds a proxy war. It's all connected (and more). As I suggested early on, this is not simple stuff, nor is it conducive to sloganeering from either side. By comparison, EE seems easy, which we all know it is not - full respect its practitioners.By the way those crazy tariffs have not so crazy roots. Reselling used MacIntosh gear has been quite profitable for some European small dealers. It does not depreciate much and you have a hefty extra price for it in Europe.By the way those crazy tariffs have not so crazy roots. European car in the US have european price or even less. In Europe, in Berlin, only the Model Y is produced.Tesla have giga-factory in EU but model 3 here is still 5k more than US price
I prefer realism.We need those.
I feel for you, but have pity on those of us on the other side of the pond. We haven't had an honest journalist since Edward R. Murrow gasped his last, nearly 60 years ago. That survey was carried out and ran by the Daily Mail, an utter cesspit of a newspaper, not even deserving for use in a cat litter tray.
