So I own a HD650 and a Sundara and they each have different but equally annoying cables. The HD650's cable is so long it could be used as cordage for a 17th century Spanish galleon. After a day's use the cable has become a rat's nest that has managed to ensnare my mouse, keyboard, amp, monitors, office chair, pets, and any small children that may have wandered into my office throughout the day.
Contrast this with the Sundara which gives me about 4 planck lengths of cable to work with. Unless I have my amp taped directly to my forehead, I'm at risk of serious neck injury if my move my head more than 5 degrees in any direction.
So my question is, are there any good headphones that have, you know, a normal length cable? Or are all headphone makers just trolling us with these ridiculous cables?
