Are there any aesthetically beautiful subwoofers? (with photos)

The Leon Aaros A10-UT is actually quite nice looking. These photos don't do it justice. Because it is only about 5" deep it is quite elegant looking and works surprisingly well too.

Subwoofers are quite easy to DIY, so if you have something in mind, why not try building it yourself?
This is a good point and definitely one of the big benefits of DIY. You can build cool looking subs that don't have mass market appeal. I built four 8" subs for my office (two of each of the subs below), and while I won't throw them in the ring for "beautiful" I do think they are quite cool looking and very different from commercial offerings.

I think these are nice and clean. Wish they came in white (and that I could justify buying two of them).

Very nice!

I am a DIY oriented sort myself and was a professional furniture maker in a past life. Unfortunately not everyone has the skills or access to a workshop.

I just paint my DIY subwoofers in a neutral grayish or dark color, place them in the corners and put stuff on them.... kinda forget I have 4 x 90-120liter subwoofers in my room with 1200W in each. They don't boom or rattle, and I compensate moderately with fletcher-munson in mind, because I like to listen at a little lower volume, but still get the sensation of actual deep physical bass that push air, like a main door is being closed with a bit of eagerness, which I find bigger subwoofers better at - because IMO bigger drivers have a better acoustic impedance at low frequencies than small drivers - even though I know it should not be so... science sometimes tells me otherwise and some do well, but I keep coming back to big drivers in big closed boxed with a ton of power and DSP in front, when I DIY.
So, I just have to hide them :D

IMHO the only aesthetically beautiful subwoofer is an invisible subwoofer.

That said, I love my pair of 24" H x 18" W x 26" D Reaction Audio Echo 15s.

Very nice looking. Where did you source those chrome legs? And the veneer? And the drivers?

The old Monster Cable M-Design subs were beautiful by 1990’s furniture trends.

They had different wood finishes and a high gloss piano black option too.

It’s not too hard to modify these for a mid century modern look that’s popular today.

We are a diverse group when it comes to our views on aesthetic beauty!

I consider the vast majority of these designs as unfit for domestic use.
