Are narrow wall mounted subs any good?

I´m currently experimenting with MSO and released the dba configuration for that - that beeing said, it´s an experiment and I´ve not decided, what I finally prefer more.
Interesting. I don't know anyone yet who would prefer MSO if there is an option to install DBA. IMO\IME the front bass is very attractive. Although I myself have not experimented with MSO, only with more trivial schemes of four subs.
Have you DBA measurements?..
what I'm looking to put in this room
You can hang four new small subs in the same way. Like Paffi did. The lowest frequency will (probably) be higher, the maximum level will be lower and the appearance will be better.
I admit that I only answered the question in the thread title), DBA\SBA are good and require subwoofers to be mounted on walls.

I looked up double bass array and while I'm sure it can be effective this room is multi purpose so I can't put any speakers on the back wall as there is a big bench and shelves there. Plus there is the cost of 4 subwoofers. I can only really put speakers and subs in this area:

Those speakers are Dali Oberon on-wall speakers and will probably be temporary until I can work out what will be much better. Maybe they only need a new amp and sub adding. I think this thread has answered my question though and the nubert slim sub is planty good and yes wall mount subs can be good. I probably need to start another one of these threads about recommend me a setup.

I´ve four of the XW800 - given it´s price there is not really a competition, when it comes to the formfactor. I´ve wallmounted them at front and back wall. If you have questions regarding that model, just ask.
Have you ever had reason to contact Nubert by email or otherwise? I sent them an email asking for recommendations about a week ago and apart from an auto response I've had no reply.

I've also read on Nubert they don't recommend mounting on plasterboard dues to absorption by the wall and that's what my walls are. How have you mounted yours? Would it be OK with screws directly into studs on a studwall? Would some sort of mount that de-couples from the wall be a good idea?

We have mostly concrete walls / stone walls here - which it should be, for an dba to work. So I've wallmounted on concrete walls. For support, I recommend to call their hotline - which is really good.

I guess the answer to this thread is yes, maybe but there are maybe only two good slim sub options, KEF T2 and Nusub XW800 slim and the nubert sub has no published test results and likely never will. It also might not be great to mount subs on a non-solid wall such as studwall.

Here's the new thread I started asking about a full system possibly with a sub. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...-on-wall-mounted-stereo-around-€-£1000.58257/
