@oliver_reid . Could you measure if there is any unusual voltage on the Chassis of the PA720?
Some amplifiers have the chassis not properly grounded and it may bring some permanent noise.
My Yamaha has all GND including the Hdmi at 4V!
I did not corrected it because in my case there is not audible site effect.
