Apollon NCMP6200 multichannel NCore MP amplifier

Just received this beauty today! I am very happy!
Based on Hypex NCore MP modules and Modushop case just like I wanted.

2 x NC502MP + 1 x NC252MP = 4 x 500W + 2 x 250W in 4 ohms.

Thanks for all the pictures. What I love most about these modular builds aren't so much the Hypex modules themselves but the implementation details. I love seeing the attention to detail on cable routing, the custom control board, and case/terminal quality. It's just all beautifully done.

I forgot to mention that this amp is custom: the regular NCMP6200 is based on 3 x NC252MP, but mine changed 2 of them to NC502MP for the front trio.

The model name is NCore MP 6 x 200 W (NCMP6200) in 8 ohms, although in reality NC252MP is 150W only in 8 ohms. So following the same logic this custom amp should be named something like "NCMP43502200".

Welcome to ASR.
Mine took a loooong time because it was a custom amp and also because of back orders from Hypex. I was not in a hurry, as this amp is going to be installed in my new home theater next year only. But still, I expect a few months waiting indeed.

Yes, I’m not in a rush because of supply chain it will take…a while for everything to get in. Even seating has months-long lead times I found. Will have to use bean-bag chairs in the interim.

For anyone who's ordered an Apollon amp in the US, what's the deal with shipping/duties? Were you charged duty, or a "brokerage fee" from the shipper?
