Thank youVery nice looking.
This power supply actually has a bit more headroom than specified yes. I will add the measurements tomorrow. It is an amazing amount of power for such small size and weight.Interesting power rating: 675 W at 4 ohms per channel, using a single 1200 W power supply. Since you have AP to measure, I assume the power supply has more headroom than specified? It's almost using the full 700 W of each module, very nice.
You get an automatic +6dB of ‘free’ gain with balanced, so SNR is lower. Whether or not that’s audible or desirable depends on a lot of other factors. With short cables / no hum, there's an advantage with XLR inputs in these amps? I mean ... some measurements that shows better performance or subjective experience.

No, the amplifier amplifies the signal present at its input by whatever amount you set. It doesn’t ‘know’ what it’s being fed, or adjust its behaviour per input. So the gain switches must be different between RCA / XLR inputs ... right? Or at least the input buffer have something to level the gain.
Not necessarily. Depends entirely on your source. Some have +6 dB higher output on balanced outs, some not. If SNR is dominated by noise from the source, you don't get any SNR improvement either. You get an automatic +6dB of ‘free’ gain with balanced.
If I wouldn´t have ordered the Purifi in PremiumCase already (and expect it to be ordered at the end of the month - hopefully), I probably would have orderered one of these. 488 € (incl. VAT) is a HUGE discount, compared to the premium version. And it looks also great!
