Apollon 1ET400A Mini - Op Amp Selection

Hello

I am thinking about purchasing this amp.

There are three op amp options for the Mini- the OPA 1612; Sonic Imagery 994; and Sparkos SS2590PRO. Can anyone tell me if there is much of a difference between these op amps?

I'm tempted to go with the OPA 1612.

If there is a big difference something is broken.... can't go wrong with an OPA 1612 as long as it is implemented properly which Apollon, as a seemingly responsible manufacture, should do.

You can always e-mail Apollon and ask them for recommendations, or specifically ask about which op amp selection measures best in terms of lowest noise and distortion. They do a lot of measurements in house.

Appollon are very honest. They offer upgrades to modules for longevity without claiming audible differences.
