AP Mastering: "Nyquist theorem debunked: why 44.1kHz sounds bad"

Right! Thanks for adding.

Yeah. Another day, another troll. I just feel that he's almost begging for @amirm to make a video with actual repeatable and objective proof against everything he has said. We could even do some simple nulling experiments to prove everything pretty easily.

That's what these Youtube clowns want. Cut their oxygen off, don't engage or spread their clickbait garbage and eventually their 'channels' wither and die.

  • what they teach in university for this day and age is "completely wrong"
  • even the Nyquist theorem is wrong

:) :) :)

I stopped watching after that ... ha ha ha ha ha ha

thank you for the short entertainment !!

This YouTuber makes sensational videos and shills his own plug-in business. His mastering business is for electronic music. Posting his videos is not helpful to ASR, in my view.

Awe. Cmon guys. I know somewhere in there you get at least a small kick out of these videos. Sometimes we all need to go to the zoo to watch the primates to realize where we're at. I'm just bringing a bit of that zoo into the doors of ASR. :D

I can also say that it's important to not rest on ones laurels as the common saying goes. I look at it like a fun challenge or exercise. Not an argument, but a game. I get really excited by the idea of debunking something like these videos with experiments and objective data/visuals. I think many of us are like that here. At least I would hope so.

You could have at least posted a screenshot instead of a working link.

There should ideally be a community rating for videos with such claims, or the publisher should be required to label the content as "fictional drama."

Thanks for the excellent way of opening a thread about a YouTube video.

his speaker videos are laughably bad.

He doesn't need to. Monty has already done a perfectly good job.
