I own three SMSL C200 (not "pro" version) and the HD600: I haven't any problem about output level and/or distortion (but I don't listen @114dBSPL because I protect my ears, and the HD600 distortion is noticeable at very high levels and low frequencies).
The biggest problem with the C200 (HPA section) is crosstalk that (at least for me) is audible. The crosstalk level is constant at 58dB from 12Hz to 24kHz. To get inaudible crosstalk I need 85dB or better (800Hz-5kHz). The DAC section is nearly perfect.View attachment 462141
Thank you.

I do not listen music too loud as well as my right ear is sensitive. That why I am looking for a non fatiguing headphone.

I just posted my negative experiences with the SMSL C200 unit and don't want to copy/repeat it here:

Hi! I have C200 and Aiyima A3001 as SW amp. This adapters is ok for C200 TRS outputs? https://www.primecables.ca/p-317426...g-to-rca-jack-adaptor-gold-plated-primecables I have floor speakers as pasive woofers for that
- C200 has RCA output connectors: why to use an adapter to convert TRS to RCA?
- The adapter you linked shorts to the ground the inverting output signal of the TRS and that isn't good...
- If you need concurrent outputs for the speakers and sub (so RCA are already used by the amp of the speakes, the amp of the speakers doesn't have the input passthrough, and you need to connect the amp of the sub), you can use something like this https://www.amazon.com/TNP-Premium-Inch-Audio-Cable/dp/B01CNMSSGK?th=1 (2 x) and you must use only the white RCA (Left) plug for each channel.

Amp use RCA output. It is not TRS balanced mono output, who knows? Why then right and left channels?

You are right. Opened & checked. Thanks :)

My C200 just went dead - I moved it from my desk to the living room to test the speakers, and it just not turn on. Anything else I could check ?

It's a good idea to use balanced input if your gear has it.

Only use balanced output, if you have balanced input as well.

Does it works?...Pre is my smsl c 200,amp is my sony ,and sub is my old Energy encore 8

No. The middle fork is just a short.

If your Sub really only has a single channel RCA input, then you either have to use a proper Stereo to Mono summing circuit, or you choose either the Left or Right channel and connect just that, since bass is usually Mono anyway so no info is lost.

Can i choose exept pre mode, dac mode?...And how?...AI said yes but i didnt make it.

If you want to use it just as a dac with a seperate power amplifier, switch the output from headphone output to line output.

There is no DAC-mode, meaning always full output. The volume control is always active and goes to max 99.

I guess it's more proper to say line out mode if he wants to connect the C200 to an external amp.

Mine did too, just today. Warranty expired a week and a half ago.
I am not sure if there is some kind of reset one can try.
