yes sorry,but I suppose ,C200 has 4.4mm trs out and not 6.35mm(1/4)....,corect?
This is what I tried to say before.

On the front, there is a 4.4mm TRRS headphone output.
On the back, there are two 6.35mm TRS outputs.

You want to use the ones on the back.

I want more "detail" and sound stage with a 560s but I want to get the 490 pro later on in the year.
You aint getting that changing your DAC/AMP. To change those subjective aspects, Im afraid that you would need to get a different pair of headphones or EQ your current ones.

Yeah figured as much. I'll have to learn to eq. No idea how to. Using the 15 or 31 band eq is fine or do I have to use those "filters"?

10 bands should be enough to EQ pretty much every headphone out there.
There's a lot of info out there to learn how to EQ and you can message me if you have any doubts. I can also make an EQ for your Sennheiser 560s if you want, just let me know and I'll make it.

I found this a good place to start, EQ to Harman curve and adjust from there.
Normally the 15 or 31 band EQs are GEQ, which is limited to set frequencies and Qs so you'd need parametric EQ ideally.

Sure but only if you have time.

There are many EQs available already for the 560s. I'm sure @Tano knows what he/she is doing, but there are plenty of EQs available here.

Sure. AutoEQ is a really great place to start. The key is to learn how to adjust those references EQ to adjust them to your preferences.

Yeah definitely, I EQ to Harman and adjust to taste from there. Although I do actually find my 560s fine without EQ as well.

Sure, no problem at all. I'll get back to you with the EQ tonight.
Hey I got the message and applied the settings. The site thinks my reply in the dm is spam or something not sure why.
Thanks I will use it for a while to see if I need to make any personal adjustments. It sounds good already. A lot more "tamed" I just cranked the volume up on the dac to get more volume. Hey I go

No probs. Just make adjustments progressively until it suit your tastes.

I have been very impressed with the C200 since April 2024 using it mainly with Fosi V3 monos. The C200 has a USB connected to a mini PC running Daphile. Just starting to get back into headphones....still have my first 'decent' pair, Grado SR80s and now have HE400SEs stealth & AKG 371s. I have applied Amir's PEQ settings Amir's PEQ to SqueezeDSP running on Logitech Media Server.

For convenience in some rooms I plug my headphones straight into a Gen1 AirPort Express Spec here. These AirPort Expresses stream from the Logitech Media Server.

The AKG and HE400s need roughly the same volume level when connected to the Airports. When connected to the C200, the HE400s need the volume cranking right up as they are nowhere near the listening level of the AKGs. I am using high gain on the C200, standard cables connected into the 6.3mm front socket.

I am probably answering my question here but is this down to the AKG371s sensitivity of 65 vs HE400SE of 328....combined with how the Airports supply power compared to the C200?

Would there be any noticeable differences in connecting the HE400SEs with a balanced cable to the 4.4mm input on the C200?
