Anything a bit more durable than the Apple dongle?

I've broken a few of these. I use them on tons of things, Speaker amps too. I've tried lots of "real" DACs, but i cant hear the difference. So I end up selling them. Anyways, im setting up a cheap little system with a Douk Audio A5 (source is USB)... is there anything out there that's not too much more expensive, but is more durable? Or should I just buy a bunch of them? lol
