Is anyone using HiFiBerry Beocreate 4 with Audiolense or Acourate for the DSP crossover ?

I'd like to use Audiolense or Acourate for all the DSP (digital crossover and DRC), with a 2-way speaker but I don't know if it's possible.

Can I output 4 channels from Audiolense/Acourate via TOSlink?

Or is there a way to generate filter files in Audiolense/Acourate, that are compatible with this SigmaStudio mentioned on Beocreate website? To load my Audiolense generated filters onto the DSP board of Beocreate.

I read you can only send stereo over TOSlink. The board would be more versatile if it could take multichannel audio (maybe it can with the RPi via streaming) and if all the channels had the same 60W rating. I have used REW to generate the filter files and it seems to work pretty well at correcting the speaker output. What advantage does the Audiolense/Acourate package offer over REW?

Have you tried the HifiBerry support forum? Daniel normally answers promptly.

Do either of your preferred packages output a text file with the filter definition? It should be easy to translate this to the format expected by dsptoolkit; example about 3/4 of the way down this page:

PCM over Toslink supports only stereo. Multichannel is only supported with Dolby Digital or something like this, wich is not supported by the Beocrate.

If you install Hifiberry OS on your Pi, you can easily program the DSP via the web interface of the Hifiberry OS. There is no need for Sigmastudio with Hifiberry OS, as seen on the website: https://www.hifiberry.com/hifiberryos/
