Anybody using D class amplifier for Magico speaker?

Why do you think that is? People on ASR already think the KEF Blades are overpriced. And the KEF Blades are a bargain compared to Magico. I doubt if there are any Magico owners here.
Magico A5 are cheaper than Blades in USA (I hear about $22k/pair depending the relationship with the dealer) , and comparing the construction alone (alu, etc) they are perfectly ok for the price.

At post #22 we have an owner.

Since the OP does not yet have the speakers, why not consider full range actives like the top of the line Genelecs or Neumanns?

...or a Kii Three system, perhaps with the subwoofer-obviating BXT option -- that way, just as with "Genelecs or Neumanns," the amp compatibility issue becomes moot. Once you've got the budget for the likes of Magico stuff, a multitude of more or less turnkey options are available.

I have Magico S1mk2 speakers and I am driving them with Nilai 500 dual mono in a stereo case (two power supplies). They sound fantastic. I have added a tube preamp for a little warmth although they are more accurate through silver Icon autoformers.

The Nilai amp has no problem driving the Magicos.

Very familiar with S3 Mk1. Devialet Expert Pro 220ci drives them very well. They sound great drive by Levinson amps too. A few comments on this thread are very interesting. It is true that in less than ideal setup and bright sounding components, they can sound on the thin bright side. The low frequency performance will benefit from a sub if listening to EDM or rap music. I have never owned or heard a dynamic loudspeaker with such an open clear midrange. This is where the S3 is next level. The beryllium tweeter is super resolving also. Driver integration is flawless. These speakers disappear completely and throw a huge soundstage. Imaging is superb.

Solid state components aren’t ‘bright’ sounding, can anyone recollect a dac or amp that doesn’t have a flat FR?
‘Bright’ is down to your speakers, with possibly a contribution from your room.

Try some load depended amps and you'd rather want to listen at a nice jackhammer instead :p

Yes - plenty of DACs with filters that roll off in the audible band - audibility is a different question of course although some start rolling off at 10KHz.

I don't recall ever seeing one where the amplitude increased with frequency though so no 'bright sounding' DACS. Likewise amps can be load dependant but again that's a roll off not an increase - so no 'bright sounding' amps either.

I own S3 MKIII's (have had for all of a week) and currently have the Nad M33. I've got the new buckeye purifi 1ET9040BA monos coming in the next week or two, so can report back once they arrive. The M33 seems to work just fine, but given the impedance curves of Magicos that have been reported, figured more power wouldn't hurt. I don't expect any changes, save for when I decide to crank it up. And since I doubt there are any public measurements (I've only been able to find the snippet of the klippel in the Magico factory tour which looked pretty damn near perfect), here's at least the in room measurements from Dirac on the M33.
