Plate amps do crossovers just fine. And fairly safe, reliable ones.

My case is similar to OP’s, speakers will have uncommon shape, so installing a plate on the back is not an option. Also it would be great to reduce the amount of cables for aesthetic reasons, so all-in-one box would be a perfect solution.

You don't have to install it, just stick each one in a box nearby and you're golden.
You can even use it as a base.

DSP for each pair is silly limited, you need to choose HPF or LPF, cannot do bandpass.

I like to keep the sophisticated DSP at line level only, not integrated with power amps.

Lots more flexibility, for future changes, without overspending on overkill wattage up front.

Pioneer stopt producing it but you can still buy it.

4 channel with dsp.

Or use the York device, just ad power supply and housing.

Could not finish work on the software but now looks like it is converging, so please expect a parcel in 2 weeks I have the address.
Been busy with making the software to support different devices: DSP modules and new amplifier. Fixing many small things takes enormous amount of time.

Regarding the topic, in the recent months I was mostly working on this 4 channel amplifier:

It is designed as a plate amp, has USB audio + dsp config port, I2S and S/PDIF inputs.
For analog input there is also interface board with ADC. And for configuration it uses same software GUI as the 2x4 DSP.

I mostly post on DIYAudio about it:

Bumping the thread because I’m looking for similar solution, maybe something new appeared on the market since last year. To be honest I’m quite surpsrised that no one produces affordable all-in-one box that would integrate DSP, 4 or 6 channel amps, AND a player/streamer. Everything in a single device that you can turn on with remote control or app and just play music from pendrive or Quobuz/Spotify. It would be like a holy grail for DIY speaker makers on a budget.

Only if the budget AVR can be configured for tweeter/mid/woofer crossover. I'm not aware of any that can.

What are the main differences between your devices and Dayton KABD/Wondom JAB5? I’ve read that KABD is a nice cheap starting point for beginners, but produces noticeable hiss. If it sounds like a noob question than yes, I’m a newbie.

For me the products enables me to build dsp/active crossover with better specs I can buy yet.
For a nice price.
Like -125db THD + N by adding my own es9039q2m dacs. And 192khz sampling rates.
No hiss.
Try to buy that.

I think of two major differences:
1. They use ADAU1701 DSP with built-in ADC for analog input. This is the reason for "hiss" - this ADC is quite noisy usually, this is also feedback that I got from speaker makers.
In my designs the ADC frontend is designed to minimize the noise. Here is measurement of the noise floor of the ADC:

(same ADC is used in the 2x4 DSP and Centure24 amplifier)

There is practically no audible difference if I switch between ADC and digital inputs. With my ear directly to the tweeter

2. For configuration of York DSPs there is user-friendly GUI software, instead of the SigmaStudio.

ADAU1701 has both ADC and DAC, so if you avoid using both built in ADC and DAC - yes, defenitely.
I am not so sure about DAC quality but the ADC is biggest contributor usually.

miniDSP PocketADC is a pretty clean gadget but only stereo.

I dunno any cheap 4ch equivalent though, would love to learn of any.

Yes, there are multifunction (MP) pins that can be configured for use as I2S input and output.
