Any reason not to order the new Buckeye 2nd Gen Purifi EIGENTAKT 2-ch amplifier?

The question is whether you have to do it this way. There are also 'audiophile' power amplifiers that do not require grounding and are therefore not susceptible to noise on the ground line.
Curious what criteria makes an amplifier audiophile vs. non-audiophile....

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a reason why not all Icons have this issue? Mine doesn't have an issue, trying to figure out if it's something that I have inadvertently avoided in my setup somehow.
I can say from my experience that the humming is kind of sporadic, and depends on various things. Sometimes, without changing anything in the setup, it's very very faint (something that wouldn't bother me), other times is significantly louder with no explanation. I have noticed it also depends on what is connected to the Icon (eg unplugging my sub changes the loudness of hum) - but none of those things completely eliminate it. My point is it's pretty variable and there could be any number of reasons why some people experience it or not. Such is the nature of ground loop issues, I think.

These are probably the implementations that have realized the floating ground concept on the transmitting and receiving side.

At the very least, this implementation can probably avoid additional noise.
So now you're backing off from implying floating ground is a distinction between audiophile and non audiophile?

Edited as I was looking at the wrong quoted post previously.

I deliberately put 'audiophile' in quotation marks to make the reference to the Bluesound implementation and official wording. You could also replace the word with less susceptible to interference.

It would also be interesting to know whether the ground pin is connected to the shielding in any way, whether passive electronic components are installed, etc.

I have asked them and report back once I get an answer. Also stumbled upon some interesting custom solutions - check the pictures in link below...

I have received a reply on my ticket asking if they would offer a cable to fix. Here is the response:

We do apologize that we do not have an immediate solution to your issue. Rest assured your feedback has been passed along to our Product Development and Quality Assurance teams for further review and consideration in a future update.
