Hello all,
My system currently consists of recapped KEF 105.1s, a pair of transmission line KEF B139 subs, a pair of Bryston 2B-LPs in bridged mono (200watts each) on the 105.1s, a recapped Yamaha P2100 on the subs, an SMSL D200, and a DBX driverack PA2 as sub crossover and EQ. I'm thinking of replacing the Brystons with a Quested AP-700 (rebadged MC2 MC650) so that I can have XLR ins as the Brystons are unbalanced.
I'm wondering if anyone thinks this would be a worthwhile change.
Listening space is a roughly 12x 20 rectangular space with pretty well treated walls (Aucoustimac 2" insulation on roughly 20% of wall space, ceiling treated in one 2x4 area above listening position.)
Any information on experience with the Quested/ MC2 amp would be appreciated. They seem well regarded but I have a lot more information on my old Yamaha P2100 than I can find on the Quested.
