Yum. Had a Kawasaki KR1-S back in the day. Always fancied either a YZ490 of CR500 as an arm wrenching on/off road option...
Gotta love crazy two strokes!

Bike week just started at Daytona - weather was nice yesterday, so I took a scenic route to the speedway. Took a few photos - first one has my blue Wing in it. Walked around awhile and enjoyed the "freak show" a bit.
That second photo of a Beemer masquerading as a Harley cracked me up.
Great day, too bad it's supposed to rain all day today. :(
The rest of the week looking pretty good.
Be safe, ride sober.

My bike a 2001 Honda Vtr sp1 i have it since 2005, and still great to ride it.
Under 7000tpm its one of the strongest sportbikes out there, even compared to modern 1000cc bikes.

That seems to have the performance nearly the same as my Suzuki B-King had. Perfect bike for travelling IF it had out front Pegs for stretching your legs. They didn't make any aftermarket ones for the B-King when I looked all over for them. My legs would be killing me after 1 hour so I rode jacked up on Vicodin all the time. Those were fun times. Also back when you could actually get Vicodin, those days are long gone now.

Some pics of last saturday at Valencia circuit, on the "Racing Legeds" event.
Really awesome to see all many historical bikes on track.

Thanks for the images. I've been reading news for several hours and this really picked me up. :D
