Any feedback about the pro-ject pre box s2 analog as analog switch?

Does anyone is using The pro-ject pre box s2 analog as analog switch between 2 sources? Since it is pretty affordable (249€) and has a remote control, I am thinking about it to easily switch between an home cinema set-up (AVR) and a hifi set-up (DAC with volume control). Specs seem to be pretty good to ensure transparency. If used in a « switch-only » mode, I intend to set-up the volume in the max position. Is it a good idea?

That things lists a 100db a-weighted noise floor, which isn't all that transparent from a measurement standpoint.

The Emotiva SP-1 would be the way to go if you need remote controlled and measurably transparent.

I agree but price wise it falls into a very different category. Schiit saga was my initial though but since I am leaving in Europe it makes it also pretty costly and difficult to get
