Any DAC/AMPs able to be plugged into a USBC hub with no sound degradation?

I am trying to use the apple dongle in a USBC hub that has an additional USBC connector Hub I used. When I plug it in i get this weird tin sounding distortion. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I have tried it with other hubs and it's still the same. I would also be open to solutions that would allow me to use multiple USBC devices on my phone. Thank you
