I just took delivery of a 20-year-old Piega TP 3 speaker. A single one as stereo doesn‘t make sense in my study anyway.
What a piece of equipment! Wow! And it sounds great. It doesn‘t pretend to be what it isn‘t. Bass is cut off at 100Hz, I guess. But that‘s ok, for the rest is so authentic and way beyond its size. Owing to its full aluminum housing It weighs 7kg at merely 31cm height. A real heavey-weight for its size.
I had no clue of Piegas. Now I will find myself dreaming of what current Piega floorstanders might be like …
