Antimode X2 vs MiniDSP DDRC or 2x4

Has anyone compared the results of these two?

Playing with the idea of improving bass modes and potential addition of a sub.

I know that the 2x4 gets a less than stellar review from Amir. I am not interested in DSP hardware that includes a PreAmp function.

I haven't compared them directly, but for one thing the Antimode device will be trivial to set up compared to anything from MiniDSP if that matters. I used to have an Antimode Dual-Core and it worked fine for room correction, although it measured badly when Amir tested it... I assume/hope the newer devices would be technically better.

I’ve had the X2. Its easy in use, but not really flexible. Thats why I sent it back.

Yes, you can tweak it through their software though but its not as flexible as other options.
