It is the mother of all sales (not only) in audio, to greatly exaggerate even non existing or at best tiny changes in reproduction. Amps are at the edge of getting unimportant to sound reproduction. Even implementing a heat sink of reasonable, but not needed size for average use, is proclaimed a technological breakthroug. In fact today it is getting harder to build a bad amp than to do one right. Even as there are quite some excavating old, mediocre examples with great names, especially in China.
