Hello all members! I’m excited to share another new product designed by Douk Audio with you here, the A100 TPA3255 digital amplifier, which will be released in May or June.

The A100 supports mono/stereo and sub/flat mode switching, and comes equipped with a super bass knob. It can perfectly work with different devices and seamlessly integrated into various usage scenarios. In addition to adjustable low-frequency and volume settings, it also features line output and independent volume control, making it highly versatile.

Furthermore, the A100’s cooling mechanism is a major innovation. Let's guess how the A100 achieves efficient heat dissipation?

Thank you for letting me know, I will obey this rule in future posts.

Intriguing, I'll think I'll get one to take subwoofer output from my AO200 to power my samsung. Thanks for the heads up.

Congrats @Douk Audio
Looks very robust case work, hope design is also capable enough, missing balanced inputs as well as sub-out (as oppose to aux-out) for enthusiasts though.

After evaluating most of the available TPA3255 amplifiers, this one is giving a bit different refreshing vibes.

Details in pics seem to imply low pass filter with front panel knob, makes me ask about high pass filter for true 2.1 deployment?
Does this knob controls both low pass as well as inversely high pass?

Seems like TPA3255 chip is sandwiched downwards on upper/top heatsink with fins to heat transfer. This should be better than other designs as case top will have direct or more airflow interaction than bottom as used in many others.
Is it correct? @Douk Audio

While it seems good, but demand more careful placement and handling for avoid any accidental injury.

Seems quite competitive for single ended connections.

Hi, the A100 is in production now, and it is expected to be released at the end of June. Thank you for your attention!
Very good! Thanks! Any info on price, psu? Will it be available on Amazon?

one of the on route to Amir?

i dont know what to think about this. Obviously this is not pffb (?) - the aesthetic looks like a car amp

the thing where the pre-out has its own dedicated vol. knob AND ungraduated sub cutoff AND Sony MegaBass style boost...

i mean its something, not sure what but if its sub $100 i guess it might find an audience

BUT I mean there's a more.... trad. type PFFB unit already here with QoL stuff like a remote and display etc.

Those SINAD figures, without PFFB, seems difficult.

Congrats @Douk Audio

Thank you! Yeah, we have modified it for over 10 times to improve all details and its parameters. The case is solid and with our patent, the heat dissipation efficiency is very high. We have another TPA3255 amplifier H7PRO with XLR input, so A100 doesn't add this. AUX out can connect another amplifiers or active speakers / subwoofers to build multi-channel, while sub-out only supports subwoofers, so we choose AUX. For enthusiasts, is sub-out more suitable for AUX out?

Yes, you have discovered the design highlights of A100! The A100 integrates the heat sink seamlessly with the body of itself, significantly expands the heat sink groove area and achieves more direct and efficient airflow contact to make great improvement in heat dissipation efficiency.

The A100 with mono/stereo and bass/full-frequency switch, that means it supports four combinations of working modes to adapt flexibly to your diverse usage scenarios.
SW-FREQ adjusts the low frequency from 50 to 220Hz, SUPER BASS adjusts the bass gain from -6db to +6db, of course, these two knobs are only valid in bass mode.

The A100 will default comes with DC 48V/5A power adapter, the price has not yet been determined while as I know it won't be very cheap since its case costs much and almost the inside components are imported. It will be available on Amazon in July if everything goes well. :)

Is the second volume knob defeated in bass mode?

Hi, I have emailed Amir but haven't got his reply, we certainly hope he can test our A100. We have tried our best to improve its parameters , of course we want to gain recognition from our customers, also want to learn more from the evaluation of professional audiophiles. :) By the way, the price won't be less than $100 since its case costs much and almost the inside components are imported...

For enthusiasts, is sub-out more suitable for AUX out?
I would say - Yes. Sub out is more convenient, specially if subwoofer has only LFE input.
More importantly, for effective 2.1, you have to have low pass filter as well as high pass filter.

No, the two volume knobs are valid in all modes. In bass mode, the AUX out will only output low frequency signal, it can be adjusted by the AUX VOL knob, and the banana speaker jacks will connect to passive subwoofers and the main volume knob will adjust its output.

Thank you for your idea! I will convey that to out PD. I have consulted with one of them, for the function design of A100, they think that AUX out can connect to more audio devices for different puporses, such as another amplifier, or full-frequency active speaker, not only subwoofer (most acitve subwoofers with low and high pass filters), so they think AUX out will satisfy more usages.
