Hi everyone. I wanted to let folks know about the new Headphones Review Index. It follows the same core structure as electronics and speaker dashboards. You can find it here (or pinned on the Forums main page):

The new index page has the following dashboards which are tabs on the top:

• Headphone Index
• Notes

Headphones Review Index
Some key features:

1. You can click anywhere on a row to jump to the ASR review of the headphones.
2. The Tooltip (which you can see if you hover over the Price field on the right) has a layout that includes being able to view the manufacturer's product webpage.
3. There are two recommendation fields displayed: with EQ and without EQ. (You can also filter on both types of recommendation.)

EQ Profiles
This dashboard is based on the headphone EQ filters created by Amir and compiled by member @sweetchaos . To learn about PEQ data input and operation, please use these reference posts:

• GEQ profiles

Some key features:

1. The Tooltip (which you can see if you hover over either the Frequency, Gain, or Q fields) will show you the source, a link to the headphone review & measurements, the measurement date, and the measurement rig.
2. To see the full text of a profile simply hover over the text in the "Profile Text" column. You can select + copy from the pop-up text box that appears.

EQ Software (beta)
This dashboard is based on the EQ software list compile by member @Doodski . To see his full list please use this reference post.

Some key features:

1. The Tooltip (which you can see if you hover over the blue/orange square on the far right) will show you additional info about that software application.
2. To go to a software application's website simply click on that entry in the table.

Going forward I'll be maintaining these headphones dashboards. Please PM me (or post on this thread) with:

• feature suggestions. (Keep in mind that we are limited by what the visualization platform -- Tableau Public -- can do.)
• issues you find with the data.
• issues with the dashboards.

A huge thanks to @pozz for all of the work he put into this. He not only did a ton of work putting the data together but was heavily involved with the design and testing.

Going forward I'll be using this post to track major changes to the Headphone dashboards. (Minor changes will be released but not tracked here.)

Quick announcement: there is now a new dashboard for headphones --> EQ Profiles.

This dashboard is based on the headphone PEQ filters created by Amir and the preamp value calculated by member @sweetchaos . The profiles can be loaded into your preferred PEQ app. If you would like to learn more about PEQ data input and operation, please use this reference post.

Quick announcement: there is now a new dashboard for headphones --> EQ Software.

• Note: this dashboard is currently in beta. The design and functionality of the dashboard itself is production-ready. However, there is still some ongoing work that needs to be done with the underlying data.

This dashboard is based on the EQ software list compiled by @Doodski which you can see in this post. Thanks to @Doodski for all of his efforts to help get this off the ground.

If you have suggestions for additional software applications to be included in this list I'm happy to consider them. You can reply to this thread or PM me. When making a suggestion please:

1. Cite your source(s) using URLs.
2. Include the types of EQ that are supported.
3. Include any additional info you know of: free vs. paid, supported operating systems, whether this is a stand-alone app vs. a plug-in, etc.

Feel free to also provide suggested modifications for entries that already exist. Thanks.

Quick announcement: there is now an updated dashboard for EQ Profiles.

This update includes data and features that allow you to find (and select + copy) text versions of the EQ profiles for ASR-measured headphones. There are three types of EQ profiles included in this update:

• PEQ
• GEQ (10-band)
• GEQ (127-band)
  • Note: this data is only in Wavelet-compatible format.
