I would say there is a more likelihood of him not sending anything to anyone because he can't take that risk.

And I am very confident it is highly unlikely that any members will be sending a pair of $34k speakers to Amir nor Erin. I know I sure as hell won't send a pair of brand new $34k speaker to anyone.

They don't need to send the pair, so it's only $17K

They really remind me of my Klipsch Forte speakers! Wow! Ten times the price! I'd love to try them out because I think they're beautiful! But if the sound isn't exceptional like the Kharma DB 9S for the same price, why buy them? At least they're less boxy than the Forte, and than most speakers. When will we see speakers with an original shape?! I'm sick of these shoebox cubes! Like furniture!! They're all flat! They probably only deliver 112 or 113 dB at most, which isn't extraordinary! I like to crank my Klipsch up to over 115 dB for a few seconds to feel all that captivating power! I really like my speakers; the sound is somewhat similar to the Kharma speakers I've tried, but much more powerful and spacious. But with Kharma, you get an unexpected level of realism! Each instrument is isolated and then placed in front of you, creating a giant wall of sound that is full but not at all aggressive! Quite the opposite, very gentle !!

En tout cas elles sont moins carre que les FORTE, et que la plupart des enceintes, a quand des enceintes de forme original ? ! Marre de c'est cube de boite a chaussure ! comme pour les meubles !! C'est tout plat ! Elles doivent fournir au max 112 ou 113 db, ce qui n'est pas extraordinaire !J'aime mettre mes klispch a plus de 115 db pendant quelques secondes afin de ressentir toute cette puissance envoutante !! Je trouve que les Néerlandais et les néerlandophones n'ont pas une belle apparence et sont même plutôt laids.
Je vais garder mes enceintes Revival Atalante 7 Evo.

C'est vraiment une question de goût, parce que vos REVIVALs sont vraiment, vraiment laides, comme une boîte à chaussures en bois ! Allez comprendre !

$34K for a pair of speakers is more than most can afford and more than most are willing to spend on a pair of speakers, but considering all that has gone into them, I would say they are not at all over priced.

they target different demographic
not a strange move by a new company (even with a renowned designer like AJ). they get the top notch product out to get the buzz then work out more affordable products for mainstream market.

I believe they sound incredible because it's Andrew Jones, but if someone thinks an $8,000 pickup can give them a 10x improvement in sound quality, they're 100% wrong.
In my opinion, this is not even snake oil, this is fucking highway robbery....

It’s the size and sensitivity that makes it .

Possibly one geared towards use with subwoofers have one 12” bass and higher tuning smaller cab and expecting it to be used with subwoofers ?

Well using a record player to demonstrate sound quality is objectively stupid at any price, but it is expected by technically gullible high end enthusiasts.

The valves and vinyl are a good indication of who this speaker is being marketed to. I mean, the equipment rack they deploy costs $9K.

As far as measurements go I'll be amazed if Stereophile don't get them for review in the next six months or so.

I fail to see how that's snake oil. I DO agree most/all of this is unnecessary, and you can achieve CLEANER by a simpler/cheaper setup, but don't judge people because they want something that please their eyes, and produce a sound that bring happiness to their ears. even that is the pops and distortions of a turntable.

If someone claim that a speaker wire makes better sound, yes, definitely a snake oil

Not state of the art but they do identify the same trends as the Klippel NFS does so it will give us a good idea.

luxury market is beyond our commoner comprehension. Whether the price is "justified" or not is up to debate. A $19 rack from IKEA will function just the same, but as long as they do not tout it as "improve sound quality", I won't bat an eye.
