Andrew Jones’s new speaker brand - Jones and Cerreta

I just got back from Axpona where they had these speaker set up in the lobby of the hotel, I listened for 20 min was not really blown away. They are really large in size when you see them in person. I went to the convention to check out the Mofi source 10 before I purchased them.. Will also skip that purchase as they sounded way too bright for my taste and they were the "master version". This experience has reminded me how important it is, if possible to get a chance to listen to speakers in person before buying if you can, as everyone perceives things differently.
The treble can be moved down up to 2db. For this show, they may very well have had it in the bright position, +1, not 0,, or -1. Also, most coaxes are decided to be ideal for 10-20deg off axis.

Given the name recognition of Mr. Andrew Jones, I am surprised no audio company is currently licensing with Pioneer Electronics to produce the entry-level loudspeakers he created for Pioneer.

I wonder how many pairs of the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR loudspeaker would have to been sold to equal the profit of one pair of 'Troubadour' loudspeakers from Jones and Cerreta.

I've had the V10s for several weeks now, and bright is not how I would ever describe them. YMMV, of course.

My initial impression of my V10 speakers is also that the treble was a little hot but I also realized that my previous speakers rolled off on the high end. Indeed, in the low treble switch setting, I immediately got used to them. My next impression was that it seemed that I had more than two speakers in the room.

That’s quite a ‘realistic’ price in the big scheme of boutique speakers.

I was expecting a noticeable bit more.
I think for boutique speakers, this isn't outrageous. And I'm sure there will be a lot of buyers. But for those of us who know the science, it would not make sense when you can get the KEF Blade 2 or the Perlisten s7t LE with this kind of money.

Compared to his own designed TAD that costs $150K and only has dual 10 inch, it's somewhat of a bargain lol

I agree.

Though with the cash I’d probably go for these.

And still have the six or seven grand change from not needing an amp.

If you want to go the active speaker route, you can't go wrong with the Kii nor the Dutch& Dutch.

There's a tweeter toggle switch on the back of those SourcePoint Master speakers that can alter the high frequency response (low, mid, high). I've heard the same complaints of the OG being bright. My concern with those speakers would be the lack of bass response.

That's possible, but I'd rather listen to these speakers in a comparison—the MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition, which cost "only" about €9,500 per pair.
I think the TADs are overpriced, and I find the MoFi's price point very appealing. Plus, it would be tough for the Jones & Cerreta to outperform them in terms of sound quality.
I think that's actually 'his master's voice'
