Reminds me of the audiophile version of a an Heirloom gaming computer in terms of tasteful design. Prices are about what you'd guess looking at the pictures. I guess if I were a billionaire audiophile with bad taste I'd like it. Not being a billionaire that is only a supposition.

Maybe I should build some components with the brand name Hearloom.

Proves my point about people whine about soncoz design choices when "high end" does it far worse in a different league :) this is just the last in a long tradition of horrible design :D

Kostas Metaxas had some incredible gear back in the day. I spoke at length and listened to some of his early equipment at an audio show in the mid/late 1980s. I can dig out the brochure and scan it if anyone is interested?
 
Things like this reassure me that I'll never be tempted to buy "high end" gear.
