My prior audio chain was a dated Topping D50 -> AAA 789 -> HD800S.
Unfortunately, the D50 seems to be having issues maintaining a stable connection; frequent unlocks / disconnections happen to the point where it's unusable.
For now, I've had to call up the trusty Apple USB-C dongle to serve as DAC until I can get a suitable replacement, and increase the gain level on the 789 by 1.
Not ideal, but it'll have to do in the meantime.
