Where is this history of disagreements to be found?

Some aspects from that discussion.

1. You need to input 12.5 volts to get it to full power. Typical DACs are 4 volts xlr and 2 volts RCA.
Why didn’t they think of using a pre-amp?

2. around 9 amps peak
Amir didn’t test this for sure.

3. Our amps match/beat this, produce many times the power output, and without shutting down into reactive loads.
Can this be true according to your experience?
 
I just wonder how objective it is.
It's March Audio selling their product on their own forum. Not very objective at all. Most of their claims are overblown in order to paint their product in a better light.
1. You need to input 12.5 volts to get it to full power. Typical DACs are 4 volts xlr and 2 volts RCA.
Don't use the low-gain setting on the B200 if you don't have a pre-amp capable of high voltage output. The performance at high-gain is still very good.

Can this be true according to your experience?
March Audio makes the assertion that the B200 shuts down into reactive loads under 4 ohms which is not supported by the data. We see that it can shut down into reactive loads at 2 ohms, which it does not do at 4 ohms. This is pretty normal behavior and not an issue for the vast majority of speakers on the market which might dip a bit under 4 ohms over a small frequency range. If you have a speaker that really does reach down to the 2 ohm range at nasty phase angles, you have two options: first and best, get a better speaker. Second, if you don't want to get a properly made speaker, then yes you need an amp that doesn't do that.
