Part-05: Track-05 “Romance” in CD “Schubert ROSAMUNDE D.797” by Kurt Masur and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, 412-432-2 PHILIPS 1985

One of the highlights in the CD is that Elly Ameling was the invited soprano singer for only Track-05 “Romance”, 3-min 47-sec. I once heard or read somewhere that she delightfully accepted Kurt Masur’s cordial invitation to the recording session, and she visited Leipzig in December 1983 only for Track-05! Elly Ameling was my idol soprano singer in my youth years, indeed.

In post #258 on my project thread, I wrote;
Elly Ameling sang only in track-5 "Romance" for just 3 min 47 sec and her posture and beloved voice were best seen and heard ever before, even though I have listened to this album more than hundred times. My tears really down.

In post #588 on my project thread, I wrote;
In track-5 "Romance", how nicely can you hear and see the soprano Elly Ameling at front-center on the stage?

Part-07: Track-07 “Entr'acte No.3” in CD “Schubert ROSAMUNDE D.797” by Kurt Masur and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, 412-432-2 PHILIPS 1985

In post #588 on my project thread, I wrote;
I always carefully check and tune the system so that (as if) I could identify each of the violinist in first violin group, and I could establish excellent 3D image/positioning of solo clarinet flute and oboe. I believe the 0.1 msec precision time alignment between all the SP drivers is really critical for these check and tuning as well as for the almost perfect disappearance of speakers.

In post #588 on my project thread, I wrote also;
The famous quiet track-7 "Entr'acte No. 3 in Bf major (Andantino)" is another nice challenge to our audio system. Here is its spectrum in exactly the same spectral parameters as those for the "Overture" shown above; you can see (and hear) the wonderful sound cleanliness and resolutions also in this quiet orchestral music.

Yes, we do need high S/N, high SINAD, audio system for excellent reproduction of this beautiful music which was recorded in such an excellent recording quality!

Part-09: Track-09 “Chorus Of Shepherds” in CD “Schubert ROSAMUNDE D.797” by Kurt Masur and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, 412-432-2 PHILIPS 1985

In post #258 on my project thread, I wrote;
Track-9 "Chorus of Shepherds" is another challenge to audio system for the balance of 4-part chorus and orchestra sound in the nice acoustic hall. In the middle of the track, each of the solo singer from soprano, alto, tenor and bass sing in the center-back of the stage, and we need excellent 3D perspectives and sound resolution for very much impressive listening experience...

In post #588 on my project thread, I wrote;
In track-9 "Chorus Of Shepherds", can you identify each singer in the chorus?
