Amplifier problem

Some more information about your room and speaker placement might be very helpful. Loft is really cool, but really bad for the acoustics, have one so can appreciate it. Doomsday prediction: It is possible that you never will be able to have the same imaging from L and R if they are not placed ideally, even with the best of EQ. More rosy prediction: You might have to do a whole lot including placing your speakers differently aka rearranging the loft and use some EQ that might help.

I'll take some more accurate measurements tomorrow and get back to you

OK so after a full day of farting about not a lot has changed I didn't realise we had so many duvets I basically started with one small one moving it around the only difference it made was to the left of my listening position but not a lot I then coverd both sides I got a fuller sound but my problem was still there over on the left I spoke to a tec from the company that supplied the amp and he gave me a few things to try with the amp I've sent him the results so I'm waiting for him to get back to me in the meantime I've drawn a few plans with measurements (not to scale ) i hope you can understand them, this is the best position using my ears

10" and 11" space to the walls is too close.
2ft from both walls gives more depth but no change on width no matter were I sit futher away or closer in

Very difficult room so if you are off by inches in placement or the arch ceiling is not really symmetrical which it probably is not, this could be the reason. Not sure if can contribute more as very particular setup.

Been listening all day there's a definite problem with image placement on the left channel the problem followes the left channal however i swap things around

Got the bottom of in finally it was very faulty equipment!!! My ears
i took a hearing test an although my score was good and I'm not deaf there's a big drop at 2k upto 8k and my left ear is worse than the right so I boosted that range a little with some eq and toed in the left speaker a bit more and it's sounds much better

As per post 13

Thanks for all the input and advice I was convinced it was my asymmetrical loft or the amp. I went through everything apart from making an appointment for a hearing test then I found the app and bingo !!!!
