Hello ASR members,
Hope all of you are doing well!
Last January, we exchanged product inspiration and design with Ampapa’s engineer and decided to design an amplifier product with a digital VU meter, HPF circuit and acrylic transparent top window which has been applied in the Douk Audio A5.
Since software design has always been our shortcoming, we studied and learned from many different digital displays on the market.
Finally, in January this year, we made significant progress. Among the many VU display modes, we chose a spectrum mode and six classic VU meter modes.
Below are the specifications of the G9:
Audio input: Bluetooth / Stereo RCA / TRS Balanced
Audio output: banana speaker jacks / PRE OUT
Amp chip: TPA3255
Frequency response range: 20Hz-20kHz (±1dB)
THD+N: 0.007%
SNR: ≥110dB
*The THD and SNR is not the final data.
Features
1. Top window design, easy to replace op amp
2. 6 types of digital VU meter display optional + spectrum
4. Add HPF filter
5. Built-in NJW1194 chip for treble and bass control
6. TPA3255 amp chip, with 48V5A power adapter
7. PFFB circuit
...
Recently, we are going to launch it but still worry about its TRS balanced input that won't be accepted by most audiophiles. Limited to its ultra compact space of the rear panel we cannot add the standard XLR balanced input there, so our PD is going to add an optional TRS to XLR cable, is this solution feasible?
Please leave your opinions below, any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!
