Ampapa D1 Issue with "No Signal"

I just got this little amp. Seems well built, love the display options, 12v trigger, low pass filter and such and sounds fine, however, I'm thinking of sending back due to a re-occurring issue during playback - it goes into a "No Signal" mode. I was playing a loop of music to warm it up yesterday (just got it) and it would stop playing and the display shows "No Signal". I can wake it up by pressing a button on its remote. Its getting a pre-out signal from a FIIO K9 via XLR. I have a couple desktop amps in my existing desktop setup that I have been swapping out (Fosi ZA3, Topping Mini 300) but this is the first one with this issue. Nothing changed in the setup except swapping out the amps and L/R cables XLR (ZA3) to XLR/TRS (Mini 300/D1). Of course if I can't find a fix, its going back.

Anyone else encountered this?

It shouldn't happen during playback, it's at least never happened to me when I've been using it. It only goes into no-signal power-saving mode after a few minutes of no signal in at all.
