I want to upgrade from 5.2.2 to 5.2.4 but I’m out of amp channels in my Anthem MRX 740 AVR. The overhead atmos I want to power are the ELAC Debut IC-DT61-W:
  • recommended amplifier power: 30-120 watts
  • sensitivity: 89 dB
  • impedance: 6 ohms
Is there a budget friendly amp you’d recommend with the auto-on feature? The other pair of overheads will be getting 60w class D from the Anthem, fwiw. Would one of the new smaller desktop amps work?

Or FB marketplace near me I can get:
Audiosource amp102 vs $50
Parasound HCA 500 $225
Adcom 545 $250
ADCOM GFA-535 $120
Speakercraft BB275 $155

Any advice is appreciated!

Small desktop Amps with 12V trigger input are somewhat uncommon.

Topping PA5 II / Mini 300 is the first that came to mind.

If it was me, I'd take a look at the hyper built amps... Buckeye for US, Nord for UK, Audiophonics for Europe.

Ahh, looks like the Fosi ZA3 does as well! But it doesn’t have pffb. So I’m off to research whether or not that matters for my use case lol

Fosi V3 monos don't have a trigger input but the auto on feature works well, for me at least.

I planned to use atmos speaker for Magnat Supreme 102, with Fosi V3 Stereo 32v. ZA3 could be too much.
Fovi v3 Mono have auto mode, working fine and is quite fast
