Hi guys, can anyone recommend an amp for these speakers?

They will be in a medium size room played at medium volume.

Preferably from an AliExpress store as that is best availability for me.

Speaker Specs
Sensitivity 87dB
Nominal Impedance 8 Ohms
Recommended Amplifier Power 20 –125 Watts

Source will be Bluetooth/Spotify. I'm thinking to use Fiio BR13 as the dac/bluetooth-receiver unless there are better options near the same price?

Thanks!

I would not recommend alieexpress for quality devices. Not that they may not be availeble there, but there is so much trash and counterfeit stuff on that trading site that it's a huge risk. It may be counterfeit, it may be very low quality and not meeting the specs at all.

To give recommendations, i would think the Audiophonics DA-S250NC would probally one of the best fit for your case (those speakers and bleutooth in). But any decent amp of about 100-150w in 8R with a recent version BT module would do the job. Even a very mainstream and relative cheap Yamaha RD-S202D would be great, and should be easy to find everywhere.

About the Firo, i don't think this is an amp, i don't see speaker connections on the device, it looks like a digital preamp that you can use to connect to an external amp of an active speaker set. If you want an amp in this very cheap priceclass, it probally never will be high quality like those mentioned above. What you could do is use this preamp and buy a good external amp that has enough power (at least 100w/8R to be safe), but then you got an extra device and a pair of extra rca cables... Then the RD-S202D is a lot easier (one device) and cheaper (than the Firo in combo with a decent power amp), and from a mainstream brand (so easier to get support and repairs in most cases if needed).

Apologies, I have edited op to specify the Fiio BR13 was for the dac/receiver

There are official stores for Fiio, Topping, Fosi, SMSL, Aiyima and E3 Audio on AliExpress which all have some highly rated products, I'm just struggling to know what's a good fit for me

I stay with my argument, the cheapest and also the most reliable solution is not go with those new chinese devices. You need a 100W as you don't know how the speaker's impendance curve (and so how hard the load for the amp is) to be safe, and want bleutooth. If you also want some quality, cheapest i would go is the Yamaha RD-S202D. None of the cheap chinese devices of those brands you mention have the function, the quality and the power that you wish combined. You only find it in models that cost more than that Yamaha (220€ here in Europe).

And those devices are often build very fragile also, they won't last long in many cases, while the more mainstream brands do build amps that last (at least in general) a few decades. They are also hard to restore yourself, and after sales service with those brands is almost non-existing, while Yamaha has repair centers all over the world.

I have a few from Ali, have had no problems. I use the Topping P3s daily, and have been doing so ever since it came out. Been using the SMSL A8 for maybe 5-6 years. I live in a place where it does not really matter whether there is guarantee or not as shipping will always be more expensive than servicing, so Ali is fine for me. Your situation might vary. Anyways here is one I bought for a family member a couple of years back that is quite good for the price Aiyiama A07 measurements.

The A07 does not has BT and is to low power to drive this speaker i think. Infinity speakers i know are all relative hard to drive due to big impendance peaks at the crossover so the require more power than you would expect from the sensivity numbers. 50w at 8R will not be enough.

In a typical domestic environment (10ft listening distance, speakers placed near a wall), the A07 will drive the R152 to more than 100dB SPL:

There's no way that's too quiet.

John Atkinson called the similar Primus 150 "fairly amplifier friendly" so a medium or even small amp should do for a medium-sized room. I have them (150s) in a small part of a big room and they were okay with the NAD D3020 as well as with an Integra DTR 20.7. That said, the OP should choose with the possibility of adding a subwoofer at some point.
