I don't know, but iFi just came out with a lower-priced, single-ended only version of the Zen dac that costs $99 USD instead of the $189 the Zen Dac V2 now costs.
High-performance audio, even more accessible. The ZEN Air DAC brings iFi’s renowned sound to all, delivering the same rich musicality from the legendary Burr Brown chip found in our award-winning ZEN DAC series.
The LCD-2C is relatively easy to drive. Decent voltage sensitivity so it doesn't need a ton of voltage, decent impedance so it doesn't need a ton of current, and flat impedance vs. frequency curve. It shouldn't be sensitive to the amp, a wide variety of amps should be able to do the job. I'd suggest JDS Atom because it's inexpensive, well engineered, and sounds fine with my LCD-2F.
