Not a major problem as I have a USB3 device that is quite a bit faster than 100mbit

I mean if your USB3 adapter has a better connection then the onboard ethernet, It's either the drivers or your onboard ethernet jack is dying. I had a cheap asrock motherboard that a dying ethernet jack.

Well, it's not better but enough for 250mbit internet.
Not sure I want do a warranty thing out of it atm as that can take quite a bit of time..
