Also in UK at £89 without PSU.Amazon USA has them for next day delivery...$99 without power supply.
And $139 with 48v/5a 3 day delivery to me.
So you get a complete solution for 150 dollars, and it has potential to be so good that you can't hear the difference with good a dac+amp combo? That is just crazy. On the other hand, if my hypothesis turns out to be correct, frankly, I might as well go for the latest LSYSA DA8 GaN dual-mono Amp in a single chassis featuring two ACM8816 chips.

I think advantage in sound quality is not realistic. Take f.e. SNR 108db vs. 126db. The A7 is in a different league. Can anyone here tell me, other than price and size, does this gan mono have any advantages over the E3 audio A7 mono??? Particularly sound quality?
That’s exactly what I was thinking, too. An A7 mono costs as much as a pair of GaN monos. Logically, that suggests the A7 mono ought to be better. But then why did the manufacturer decide to offer the GaN monos? It doesn't quite add up.I think advantage in sound quality is not realistic. Take f.e. SNR 108db vs. 126db. Price, size and efficiency are the advantages. Two GaN monos with psu cost as much or slightly less than one A7 mono?
In other words have a wider product portfolio. And I'm sure they can sell some with the GaN buzzword and also because of monos, size and heat. Their marketing should know more. That’s exactly what I was thinking, too. An A7 mono costs as much as a pair of GaN monos. Logically, that suggests the A7 mono ought to be better. D->PWM->Speaker is the intended use case. Analog inputs are added for practicality, and an ADC with better quality than the amp itself so it doesn't become a bottleneck is cheap and trivial.A -> D -> PWM -> speaker ?
That seems less than ideal.
