Interesting they announced it in the same month XINBAOSHENG AUDIO EQUIPMENT said good bye to GaN and hello to silicium carbid.

And when external psu are a given, it's time to offer cabling options and not just brick after brick with the units.

2 x mono can be powered by one 48v10a psu which can be y-split. Just need proper cables and connectors for these power ratings.

The FOSI pack is a bit unusual because the Y-split is handled via a noise reducer.
Returning to the original topic—designing a GaN amplifier—we specifically want to avoid having the PSU unit be bulkier than the amplifier units; otherwise, the marketing argument for GaN loses its real significance...

The issue with most of the GaN amps on the market is the lack of post filter feedback and their load dependent frequency response. Mostly the use of GaN fets has been a marketing ploy and nearly all of the GaN based amps are second rate in measured performance compared to the state of the art class d like Purifi or Hypex.
 
It is really strange that one of the most important differences is completely omitted from the table.
Significantly lower efficiency—often even (significantly) worse than SiC—when dealing with rapid fluctuations in power output. The more frequent the fluctuations, the worse it gets.
A good thing that this isn't an issue for an audio amplifier (where is the sarcasm emoji when you need it?).

IIRC, GaN would be interesting only for high power.

This has nothing to do with high power output; otherwise, GaN wouldn't be so successful in small power adapters rated at 20, 30, 45, 60, or 65 watts, etc.
GaN’s advantages really come into play under steady, consistent loads.
The more the load fluctuates, the more GaN’s efficiency and advantages diminish—potentially even dropping below the levels of conventional technology.

And what kind of load do audio amplifiers present?
