Alsozone (powered by 3e Adudio) have now got this website- https://alsozone.com

They have a post about their new upcoming GaN Monoblock amplifier:
Some information

There aren’t any further details yet but there is a quick survey in it.

*These will have external psu.

@3eaudio Congrats and All the Best for the new product.
Will look forward to more details.

is it about collecting suggestions? this is mine:
If it is about efficiency, i would like to see a super low iddle power consumption and some sort of auto power on.

I think their survey is to check on the interest in general, product could already be finalized most likely.

By-pass volume can be On/Off is a great feature, to connect to preamplifier.
3e Audio have all the learning from previous products and I too hope they will have all such bases covered.

Interesting... if I may weigh in: I would start by reasoning in reverse—avoiding this below approach—based on what we know about GaN amplifiers:

Avoid this :

And really read this about GaN

Somehow I trust 3e aren't going to do what SMSL did, but this one might be their first attempt and so all IFs & BUTs might be there as usual.

@3eaudio
What's your inspiration to the new GaN amplifiers? Would be great if you could share some background and endeavor behind it.
If this isn't right time to share any information on it then don't.

Their picture and survey indicate eternal psu already.

Yes, we know that. But you didn't understand the meaning of the image...
I'll give you a hint to help you understand ==)))

simply this will won't be a question only how GaN change the sound but how the business going fordwad.
if we look at Ti you will see there is a lots of GaN device coming out these 2 years.

TL,DR: 2027 will be the GaN years on audio product espencially SMPS and amplifier.

One common question you are going to get might be if the new GaN amplifier will have higher power output than 3e/Alsozone TPA3255 amplifiers.

Hope the specifications and more details be available soon.

I’m not so sure about that... have you read the experimental comparison(based on measurements) between GaN and MOSFETs—which, incidentally, was shared by Buckeye and other manufacturers? Why do you think Hypex hasn't switched to GaN?

they will but not now......

GUANGZHOU XINBAOSHENG AUDIO EQUIPMENT COMPANY from HK (sinbosen/aoyue amps and much more PA stuff)
switched back from GaN to SiC in july of 2025 because of reliability problems. They made a press release about it.
Nevertheless GaN maybe is the future.
(No problems so far with my A7 mono and my PAM158.

The A7 and PAM158 only feature GaN power supplies.... The Audio modules themselves are therefore not affected.

Interesting they announced it in the same month XINBAOSHENG AUDIO EQUIPMENT said good bye to GaN and hello to silicium carbid.
