I'm looking at a Solupeak volume control because it's based on the Alps RK16 potentiometer, according to the reviews. Is this the correct thing to get for my Kenwood L-05M's with an input resistance of 50kOhm?

I can't figure out the actual resistance of the Alps RK16, it varies. What might it be?

If not this, what should I get for my application?

If it's the one sold on Amazon, it's 50K

Parameters:
Input: 2x RCA
Output: 2x RCA
Input impedance: 50K
Size: W63.5 x L93 x H 42 mm

someone said Passive attenuator with a 10 kOhm potentiometer would be fine for the Kenwood Trio L-05M

If not this, then what is the best thing for me?

The input impedance is what is presented to your source - streamer, CD player etc.
50K should work with any source device, but some may not work so well with the 10K loading.

The amps will be fine with either one.
