All-new Eversolo play streaming amplifier!

When will Amir review the Play? :)
What Hifi destroyed it.
I already bought it and I like it a lot, it drives a pair of Harbeth p3esr XD in very nearfiled position (80cm) in a desktop accommodation
I am waiting (and hoping) for a new full featured preamp version of the Play - without an amp, but including headphone capability and at least 2 analog inputs.

Either What Hifi or Eversolo lacks competence.
Should be objectively cleared .

The ‘Play’ may fail as well but that doesn’t change the fact that What Hi-Fi is a disgraceful comic, and of course if you read the review it failed ‘subjectively’!

Bit jittery, odd when their streamers measure so well.

Sorry I don't have a sub to test it. Maybe check the eversolo forums, I'm pretty sure I've seen someone post about it there.
According to their forums the Play cannot output to Coax and Sub at the same time. I hope they can fix that via firmware like Wiim did on the ultra.

Is sideloading of APK files possible also in the Eversolo Play?

Based on the SoundStageNetwork measurements, it is not clear to me if the load dependency of the amp section of the Eversolo Play is as bad as the one measured by Erin's in his review.
According to Eversolo, the Play utilzes the Texas Instrument "PurePath™ Ultra HD technology and advanced integrated feedback design with high-speed gate driver error-correction capability, this system achieves ultra-low distortion across the entire audio frequency range". Is it something different from the PFFB (Post Filter Feedback) technology present in some TPA32xx Class-D audio amplifiers?

Could someone with experience translate into praticamente terms the tests posted above? How did the play perform in these tests? Thanks.
I should just say "load depended" and stop there as this is a disaster of its own, but...

Well, it's weak, low gain, jittery, noise and distortion just ok, etc, etc.

I would stay far, FAR away just by the load dependence.

Can you confirm for me that the Play cannot output to Digital Coax and use the Sub Out at the same time?
I need to run coax to my Dynaudio XD 20 actives while using the Sub out for, well, a sub.
I saw on a youtube video that it cant, but the Ultra can??
I know for a fact this is true with a USB DAC attached so I would assume it's the same for digital coax. I finally found this on their community forum after trying in vain for a half-hour to figure out why there was no audio from the sub. Guess it's going back. Thank goodness for a lenient return policy. Wiim Ultra can do this just fine for half the cost.

"Hi Tom, I've confirmed the info that on play series, the subwoofer output is only supported by the speaker output."

Yeah it’s a bummer. I’d prefer the Play for the CD player plus Apple Airplay.

What does the load dependency, that Erin is talking about in his review about the Eversolo Play on YouTube, mean in simple words?

English is not my mother language and I do not understand all the technical words yet. When could this "load dependency" become a problem?

Hello!
Is it possible to output the Eversolo Play DAC output to an external amplifier?
I understand that such an output isn't officially supported. Is there a way to modify it myself (by creating an analog output from the built-in DAC)?

Good morning, I have an Eversolo Play, and I see some people who can see what's playing on the TV screen. Well, I don't have an Apple TV, I have a Samsung Smart TV, and all the networks are connected to the same network. But I tried to find how to set this up, but I couldn't. The TV's HDMI ARC port works perfectly, but I couldn't find a way to transfer the cover art of what's playing to the TV. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Roon can send the cover art to a Google cast device. Not sure if eversolo’s software can do same.

Look at John Dark, he posted this week a video of Eversolo Play, where he is listening to the music through Eversolo Play and the audio is coming out through Eversolo, but the cover art can be taken to the TV... I don't know how he did it...
